Start With a Strong Mindset for 2022

Now that you have your motto for the year 2022, I recommend you make a plaque, or it could be a printed version of your motto and set it where you see it at least a few times per day.

For example, if your motto is "peace is wealth," and you see it a couple of times per day, it will be more ingrained in your brain.

Try it.

A motto that I thought it would be interesting to share with you today is from a person who was an athlete, and his motto was: "all that I am, I am because of my mind." This is very true since we ARE what we are because of how our minds work.

This is why a phrase, a byword, or a motto will help you tremendously with a mindset that will make you thrive in 2022. It will make US thrive in 2022. I'm with you in this. I also get encouraged by encouraging you.

It's okay if your motto or byword (the word that will be the theme for 2022 in your case) changes mid-semester or mid-year. As we grow, we're allowed to change. As long as it reflects where you want to go and what you want to do. Now get to work and set your motto or byword for 2022. You can change it later, but at least you'll start changing that one degree in latitude that will get you to an improved destination each year.

Another way of thinking that may sound crazy, but it could help you, is to affirm the outcome you want. For example, you can say: "I'm thin," or "I'm skinny." If you want to be stronger, you can affirm: I'm physically strong and toned (if you want to gain muscle mass and be toned). Have a plan to get to your goals while you affirm what you want.

Start practicing the tips provided this week.

See you next week,
